El País publish a report of the tragedy for science research in Spain: researchers have no more options than leave the country, because here public founds are even lower then normally (R+D in Spain is about 1% of PIB, while in USA or Germany is over 2%).

The public spanish goverment agency for research, Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas (CSIC), is reducing external personal demand about 20%, and is only replacing 3 of 10 titular jobs.
